1. Download data from OPL in Comma Separated (CSV) format as shown in Figure 1.
(If asked if you want to save or open the file upon download, save the document.)

2. Open SPSS.
3. Close any dialog box that may appear when SPSS appears. Go to the File meu. Select File -> Open -> Data.

4. A dialog box will open. Find and select the file that you saved in Step 1.
5. SPSS will open a Text Input Wizard automatically. The wizard will ask you a series of
questions to determine how to read the file. There are six steps.
For Step1, select NO when asked
"Does your text file match a predefined format?".

In Step 2, specify that the variables are delimited and that the variable names are at the top of the file as shown in Figure 4.
NOTE: It is very important that you indicate that the variable names are at the top of the file.

In Step 3, select the options as shown in Figure 5.

In Step 4, indicate that the delimiters that appear between variables are commas and that there is no text qualifier as shown in Figure 6.

In Step 5, select the options as shown in Figure 7. If you select the data format for the UserID
column as numeric, it will convert it into decimal format.

In Step 6, select the options as shown in Figure 8.

6.Now, click Finish.
7.You are done! The data should be correctly imported.
